4.1 Local Storage

Your reading data and library information are primarily stored locally on your device. This means your data remains under your control and on your personal devices.

4.2 iCloud Sync

If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data will be stored in your personal iCloud account. This data is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud credentials or your iCloud-stored data outside of the App.

4.3 Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest where applicable.
  • Use of Apple's security frameworks and best practices for data protection.
  • Regular review of our data handling practices.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access and Export: You can view all your reading data and library information within the App at any time.
  • Deletion: You can delete individual books, reading sessions, or your entire library from within the App. Deleting the App from your device will remove all locally stored data.
  • iCloud Data: You can manage your iCloud data through your device's Settings under your Apple ID > iCloud settings.
  • Analytics Opt-Out: You can limit ad tracking and analytics data collection through your device's privacy settings (Settings > Privacy & Security).

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

9. International Data Transfers

If you use the App outside of the United States, please note that your data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers are located. By using the App, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing.
